Commercial Media Sourcing
Available advertising space. A coordinated commercial placement.
ModalSquare connects advertiser requirements with available media inventory, then coordinates the terms, creative requirements and steps needed to bring the placement to market.
Two sides of the transaction
Start with your side of the opportunity.
A commercial sourcing role
A requirement, an available asset, and the fit between them.
Advertising Inventory & Placement fits ModalSquare’s broader commercial sourcing, procurement and asset-placement model. An advertiser brings a requirement. An independent media owner brings available capacity. ModalSquare sources, qualifies and coordinates the transaction.
The advertiser contributes
The campaign objective, target market, timing, budget and approval of the proposed scope.
ModalSquare coordinates
A human-led review of availability, proposed terms, campaign readiness and the authorized placement process.
The independent operator contributes
Verified selling authority, scheduling capacity, creative requirements and the agreed fulfillment evidence.
Qualification before proposal
What we help qualify.
- Market and location relevance
- How the proposed environment and surrounding commercial context fit the advertiser’s requirement.
- Placement dates and actual availability
- Whether the proposed campaign window is open, and what confirmation is needed.
- Advertising unit and scheduling terms
- The defined placement and applicable duration, rotation, frequency or other delivery terms.
- Creative specifications and approval
- The operator’s file specifications, content restrictions, deadlines and acceptance process.
- Commercial scope and fulfillment evidence
- The proposed scope, payment requirements and available reporting or proof of fulfillment.
Time-sensitive advertising capacity
Understanding available and remnant inventory.
Remnant inventory is advertising space or time that remains unsold. It can create an opportunity when its location, timing, format and commercial terms suit the advertiser’s campaign.
Advertising capacity is time-sensitive: an open placement window can expire. Not all available inventory is remnant stock, and unsold capacity does not automatically mean a discount.
Digital billboards and indoor commercial displays may be assessed, subject to verified availability. Other advertising environments can be reviewed against a defined requirement.
Campaign readiness
A placement also needs the right creative.
For placements arranged through ModalSquare, we can help create or adapt campaign content to the agreed format and operator requirements.
